About Me

As a parent, I want a future where my children, and everyone else’s, can live healthy, secure lives in a fair society. I’m motivated by social justice which means building a society where everyone has genuine opportunities, where access to good health, education, housing, and security isn’t determined by wealth or background.

I've lived in the area for over 20 years and standing as a Green Party candidate feels like a natural extension of caring about the place I live and the people who live here.

I work as a delivery driver for Waitrose. This role gives me a very direct connection to everyday working life, shift patterns, physical work, and the realities many people face balancing jobs, families, and rising costs.

I will always be honest about what I can and cannot do. Politics doesn’t need more slogans or false certainty, it needs realism, integrity, and straight answers. I won’t pretend every problem has a simple fix, and I won’t promise what I can’t deliver. I will try to understand your issues properly, and do everything I can to make things better.

Outside of work and politics, I focus a lot on my friends and family, spending time with them and making sure everything is OK. I follow various sports and listen to and play music. I also enjoy writing about things that matter to me. This can be in the form of things like the wider views on this website, but also songs and music. I also enjoy building websites, something I've done for 25 years (I built this site myself!).

I’m standing because I care — about people, about place, and about the future. I don’t believe in magic fixes or empty promises, and I won’t pretend to have all the answers. But I do believe in listening, in being honest, in working hard, and in representing all residents with integrity, energy, and respect.

The local elections are on the 7th May 2026. Please consider putting a tick in the box next to my name.
